Training Courses

Pistol Foundation

The belt is the foundation of your pistol platform. If it flexes or sags, you won’t be able to draw the gun properly from the holster. Wear a tuckable shirt. This is important, as you don’t want your shirt getting in the way of holstering your gun (unless you’re using an IWB).

Dress comfortably, and bring layers. Most of our courses are outside and the possibility of adverse weather exists. The sun is usually the main culprit. Bring along a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

For your feet, athletic shoes are best; you will be standing and moving on dirt and around rocks and ruts. Comfortable boots are another option.

Women should be aware that there will be lots of  hot brass flying around, and if you’re not wearing a crew neck shirt, you might end up doing the Hot-Brass-In-Your-Shirt Dance. Not fun for you, but everyone else gets a kick out of it.
