Basic Rifle
This is an NRA Basic Rifle course. In this course you will learn the proper attitude, knowledge and skill necessary to use your rifle safely and accurately. In addition to firearms safety you will learn about your rifles parts and there function, ammunition and marksmanship. We will then prove what you have learned on the range with a live fire session during which an instructor will help you put everything together. Finaly you will learn how to clean your rifle.
Your ability to shoot and our ability to teach you to shoot will be evidenced on your target. The class will end with a discussion about how each of your shots ended up where they did. We will break down each shot so that you understand why each shot ended up where it did.
This course is approximately 3 hours in duration and is meant as an introduction to rifle shooting and is given as a private lesson with a limit of 2 students per class. You will get personalized one on one instruction that will increase familiarity with your rifle while teaching you to shoot safely, properly and accurately.
